About the school
A small school, run by mothers.
The school was started in 1960 by the Women's Welfare Association — the wives of officers at the Ordnance Equipment Factory in Kanpur. The same committee runs it today. Most of the members are mothers themselves, so the school is run the way they would want their own children looked after.
Run by the Women's Welfare Association
The WWA is a group of officers' wives at the Ordnance Equipment Factory. We pool our time and effort to keep the school working well. There's no chain, no trust office, no outside investor. Just the committee, the principal, and the teachers.
Vision
Kids who are confident, kind, and curious.
Mission
Run a careful primary school. Get children ready for whichever middle school comes next.

From the Principal
Ms. Noopur Dubey
We try to learn every child's name in the first month. We notice when someone is quiet that day. We answer the same question twice if we have to. The fancy parts of school don't matter much when a child is six. Patience does.
Our space
The campus is small. Most parents say it feels familiar within a week.
- Bright, ventilated classrooms
- Outdoor playground with safe equipment
- Library and reading corner
- Art and craft room
- Music and rhythm space
- Clean drinking water and sanitation
